The Hopeful Tree
26 March 2026
Some questions don’t have simple answers… but they still lead us somewhere deeper. - The Hopeful Tree
I was listening to the Glorify app…
And a question I’ve struggled with for a long time came back again:
👉 Who created God?
Because everything I know…
has a beginning.
Buildings have builders.
Songs have composers.
Apps have creators.
So naturally I ask:
👉 If everything is created… then who created God?
And if He exists…
👉 how can He just be?
Then something clicked…
If everything needed a creator…
Then we would keep asking forever:
👉 Who created the creator?
👉 And then who created that?
It never ends.
So there must be…
👉 something that was never created
Something that doesn’t depend on anything else.
Something that simply is.
And that… is what we call God.
“From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”
— Psalm 90:2
Maybe the problem isn’t that God doesn’t make sense…
👉 it’s that our minds are limited to time
We think in beginnings and endings.
But God is not inside time.
👉 He is the One who made it.

I don’t need to fully understand everything.
Maybe today… I can just say:
👉 “God, I don’t fully understand You…
but help me to know You.”
